I want to thank everyone who donated money and goods towards this trip. Your generous donations have helped me to be able to return to the Tutova Infant Clinic (and with an entire suitcase full of baby items to be donated to the kids). Me and the babies truly appreciate your generosity.
I will be posting on this blog as often as I am able so check back for updates. I wish you all well while I am gone, and hope to see you all again when I get back.

When we first arrived at the clinic we couldn't even get Denisa to smile. By the end of the trip we had her laughing. It's amazing what can be accomplished in such a short time.

The babies had so much fun on the rare occassions when we were able to take them outside. It is quite a project to get such a large group of babies ready for the out doors, and on top of that they are very concerned about the negative affects of "drafts" in Romania so the nurses were very hesitant to let us bring the babies outside to play.

Can't wait for your updates. Please let us now what children have been placed in foster care or have gone back home. We hope Florin has found a new family.
Also let us know how Sorin and Abel's eyes are. They had surgery to correct crossed eyes and we haven't heard and update in a while.

By the time you read this, you should be settled into your hotel. I guess it will be the new one in town. Let us know what it's like. Hopefully no sewer gas odor!
I'm anxious to hear about my special needs babies: Ana Maria, Alexandra, Sorin and Andre. I'm sure there are new ones with that diagnosis/designation by now, but those were mine, Mary's, Abby's and Barbara's in 2005. Give them special hugs from me.
